Charles Taylor
Partner and Head of Operations -The Barracuda Group/Hire Barracuda
One of the three founding partners of The Barracuda Group, Charles continues to refine every process and procedure to work towards making the organization a clear market leader and a respected member of the talent marketplace. He is primarily responsible for the strategy and vision of the organization.

In 2012 Charles created and launched Barracuda International, now known as Hire Barracuda, to complement their Retained/Engaged search options with Contingent/Contract hiring solutions.

Since that launch the company has received several recognitions for its growth:

Charles started his recruitment career with Intellicap, formerly known as TIG FirstSource. He entered the organization as a recruiter and within a year was in charge of a team of recruiters in the Energy Trading Team. He left the organization and joined Enron after leading a project with Enron for them to expand into markets beyond Natural Gas & Power.

At Enron Charles led the Origination & Trading recruitment efforts across all of the Enron Wholesale Services (Enron North America/ Enron Capital & Trade) business units and commodity markets. These groups included Enron Wholesale Markets, Enron Industrial Markets, and Enron Global Markets. In these units Enron traded in more than 30 different products, and the revenue from these business units represented more than 95% of the overall organizations revenue. Charles was responsible for the development of the recruiting strategy, research, identification, selection, and on-boarding of origination, trading, mid-marketing and deal structuring candidates in the following commodities:

Assisted in the acquisition of Garden State Paper by Enron Industrial Markets Pulp and Paper team.

In 2003 Charles returned to Intellicap as Director/VP of Oil and Gas Recruitment. Bringing best practices and strategies learned while at Enron led the transformation of processes and procedures within the organization to create double digit growth for 4 consecutive years following his re-entry into the organization
