Extensive work experience in multistage hydraulic fracturing completions in vertical, horizontal, oil and gas wells, conventional reservoirs and unconventional shale plays. Advanced knowledge of screenless sand control technologies, coiled tubing and acid stimulation completions. Successfully led technical teams to deploy engineering projects in a well organized and strategic methodology. International & Domestic experience.
Responsible for designing and providing implementation support for well completions on assets and also leads a team evaluating vertical wells for refracts potential. Provides guidance and mentoring to help develop less experienced engineers, as well as providing direction to management regarding well control issues.
Has experience in US and international deepwater assets. 20 open hole horizontal gravel pack completions with fiver optics per year and well versed in sand-control.

Candidate is an accomplished senior production & completions engineer with specific expertise in deepwater sand control completions design, specification and execution. Responsible for project management of difficult well completions technology & development. Supports HPHT, deliver completions concept of identification & qualification, equipment specification & assurance, and evaluation & expert oversight of industry standard equipment qualification testing.
Experienced in Utica, Marcellus & Devonian Shale . Successfully completed approximately 359 horizontal wells from TCP to first sale. Helped increase production from 0 MMscf/d & 0 BOPD to 195 MMscf/d & 1040 BOPD. Successfully staffed up to go from 0 frac crews to 4, 0 completion rigs to 11. Currently managing 15 completion consultants, 2 Foreman, 1 PA
After an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Navy, Candidate’s O&G career began in Houston as a mud engineer. Candidate then moved to the Rocky Mountains working as a mud engineer / cement engineer throughout the Rockies and then accepted a position as Drilling Supervisor for Williams Production in the Piceance basin. Here the candidate learned to complete well construction, supervision and analysis from staking to sales. Candidate left Williams to become the Sr. Drilling Engineer for Antero Resources. This position exposed him to horizontal drilling in the Woodford Shale in the Arkoma basin. Here the candidate was also the lead engineer for all Piceance drilling operations. This Candidate has since returned to WPX Energy (formerly Williams) as a Senior Staff Completions engineer assigned to the Piceance team in charge of special projects, including completions design/execution of the Niobrara vertical & horizontal wells along with the first Shannon sandstone oil well in the Powder River Basin.
Candidate is experienced in supporting A/D drilling projects for GOM, hydraulic stimulation of unconventional reservoirs, and operations drilling in W.Africa. Candidate has cross-functional proficiency with geological, geophysical, and Petroleum Systems groups.
